Monday, October 19, 2020 - I was not prepared for this wine. I expected an exceptional German Riesling, but after almost two years on the full lees, this is rather different, very structured and subtle. Brioche, flint, candied stone fruits, very creamy on the palate, so complex that I cannot put this into words, really. I believe this is Champions League, but next time (not before 2022) I will decant and use a larger glass.
