Tuesday, August 23, 2022 - Very fruity, in a good way! Velvety smooth mouthfeel with moderate tannins. Starting to taste the age as the alcohol is well integrated. I liked the 2010 a bit more (both excellent years), which were both 7 years old at tasting. Not getting any raisin flavors typically found in Amarone. While it is drinking very well, I will give at least another year before trying again. 4.1 stars. Happy Birthday Dave. You would have been 65 today. Miss you.
