Saturday, July 31, 2010 - Lots of cherry on the nose and also some candied fruit. I decanted this for about two hours. Tastes of ripe, ripe fruit. This is a fruit bomb. The palate is so big and complex that it overpowered my dinner. I guess that I needed a more flavorful cut of beef. There are lots of tannins still at work. Maybe this still needs some time. I didn't enjoy it.
