Friday, October 5, 2007 - very dark opaque purple. Opened and sampled and thought it was to tannic to drink. Decanted for about and hour which allowed a little fruit to show but was woulnd tight for the rest of the night. I am not sure this would open into anything spectacular either. Felt a bit hollow
