Dark hued and pleasing color, with a classic cab nose of cassis and dark berries...that was strong, but seemed to be somehow restrained. There is substance here, rich flavor and a medium to strong tannic structure with firm bearing. Enjoyable even now, should obviously get better. I like cabs and this was a great gift.
