Thursday, April 14, 2016 - Dark ruby color, dark and ripe berries, black current on palate with medium finish and mellow tannins. KUKEYMON had good points and concur that no secondary flavors developed. This wine was tasted with a total of six people with a 1993 & 1997 vintages of the the BV CS Geroges de Latour. All 6 people rated the 2001 last. The wine was opened for 1 1/2 hours and then decanted for 1 1/2 hours before tasting. Tasted over the next hour from that point.
