Saturday, April 23, 2022 - Dinner at Kai Garden. Decanted 2 hours prior to dinner. Deep purple. Soft texture, tannins already well resolved. Medium body. Generously fruited, with plums, blueberries, no vegetal notes here. Eucalyptus note on the finish. Already approachable despite its youth. Leans more towards grace rather than power. A beautiful wine, a worthy winner of the Jimmy Watson prize and in my opinion, as good as the best Cabernet Sauvignon aristocrats in Margaret River.
