Sunday, November 30, 2014 - Clear, pale yellow with large and copious perlage, which dissipates fairly quickly. The nose is medium (-) in intensity, with aromas of pear, green apple, brioche and a little bit of petrol. The palate is clean with a hint of residual sugar providing a smooth and velvety mouthfeel. The alcohol is subdued at 11.5%. The acidity is medium to medium (+) and counter-balances the fruit. The flavor intensity is medium with lemon and bitter lemon on the medium finish. This is a very approachable and very versatile sparkling white. Good by itself or with food, and a great value.
