Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - good quality cabernet. Typically Barossa cabernet - more blackberry and plum than blackcurrant, dollop of cassis and cloves and some thyme and very ripe tomatoes. More of the same on the palate with melted chocolate and merest hint of dustiness. Supple wine with resolved tannins and thrust, just a little pedestrian - suggest not too much more left in this so drink up.
