Sunday, February 5, 2023 - Glass: Zalto Bordeaux
Popped and poured, drunk over two days. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, youthful-developing nose. Some Citrus, lots of chalk, herbs and hints of oak. Gets more dense and complex with time.
Bone dry, high, juicy acidity. Medium+ body. Lots of fresh lime, pear, wonderful chalky mineral core, some fine oak. Very good balance, beautiful texture, grip and tension. Creamy and mouth coating without ever being fat. Long, mineral and citrus fruit driven finish. Can be drunk now, but will certainly benefit from a few more years. DIAM 10 closure. 92-93+
