Pale gold colour. Lemon, stone fruit, flowers and chalk nose. It's medium-full in body. The texture is round, almost plump, but kept in check by the excellent acidity. The finish is long, with a hint of spice and salinity. This is fresh, lively, layered. Very good.
The fragrance started to shut down after the first glass. Tried decanting but didn't help much. Perhaps needed more air or simply more time to go to the next level.

Glass: Zalto Bordeaux Popped and poured, drunk over two days. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, youthful-developing nose. Some Citrus, lots of chalk, herbs and hints of oak. Gets more dense and complex with time. Bone dry, high, juicy acidity. Medium+ body. Lots of fresh lime, pear, wonderful chalky mineral core, some fine oak. Very good balance, beautiful texture, grip and tension. Creamy and mouth coating without ever being fat. Long, mineral and citrus fruit driven finish. Can be drunk now, but will certainly benefit from a few more years. DIAM 10 closure. 92-93+

Fin syra och traditionell citrus. Men med en komplexitet som redan nu är generös och inbjudande. En lätt markerad kryddighet åt det saltiga hållet. Utmärkt.

Rich and round fruit, creamy yet focused texture, well integrated oak, and moderate acidity. Still young, of course, but very enjoyable. From 2025. 93+

2017 Bouchard and William Fevres (chicago, IL): The nose is fragrant and polished with tidal pool notes, wet rocks, peaches, pears, apples, lemon peels, white flowers, white fruits, and gun flint. The nose is wound up a bit tight and isn't too expressive right now. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and deep with racy, high acidity. The acidity has some sting to it and the lack of expressiveness on the nose carries through as the tones are balanced, but not really popping or melding. This certainly needs at least 5 years and in reality, 8-10+.

Fresh, precise and vibrant, but at the same time lush, generous and floral. Excellent and elegant Chablis from a top year in the appellation. 94+
