Thursday, February 22, 2024 - Double decanted back into bottle. Nice aroma of dark fruits and barrel spice from decanter. Poured dark all the way to rim. Nose of dark plums, spice. Flavors matched aroma profile, modest tannins into a medium finish. After 2nd glass, wine started to go flat.
Unfortunately for this Rioja, drank next to a delicious Lot 234 de Negoce 2020 RRV Pinot which was just hard to put down the wine glass.
