Sunday, March 24, 2024 - A wine that blindly I would have thought could be located in Serralunga. It's been a while since I've drunk a Barolo with such thick, allappant tannin.
Really difficult to drink without accompanying it with something to eat. I did not expect this from a 2016 especially from Sandrone.
The aromatic profile at first was very varietal with ripe red fruits, some mint and roses. The next day the aromatic profile shifted to spices and herbs.
As already mentioned with such tannicity it is difficult to describe the other characteristics of the wine. Too bad. We will see in 10 years.
