Thursday, August 17, 2023 - A rich reddish black color. On the nose, dark red and black fruit notes, graphite and scorched earth. Ripe but not jammy. On the palate, this had great energy across rich and dark berry fruit driven flavors, lifting acidity and still quite biting but balanced tannin structure. A slightly spicy and almost electric finish that lingers on the palate. Good concentration. Still very young but excellent to drink now if desired. Excellent.
