Thursday, February 2, 2006 - A rather non-descript merlot. Very dry, lots of tannins. Very little fruit...maybe some blackberry? Would pair well with a rich tomato sauce, but didn't work as well with our lasagna, which had a fairly sweet ricotta cheese blend.
