Wednesday, August 2, 2023 - I think I got a less than stellar bottle. The cork seemed too dark. And the color was very advanced and dark. Almost orange. Still, there is decent orchard fruit in the nose. Still decent acid on the palate, so still fresh enough, but wow, this does not strike me as a mid-ninety point wine. 4-13-16-8: 91/100. Just read others' notes after making my own. All have merit. The ones that resonated with me were the following: cidery; pineapple; resin; dried candied fruit.
