Saturday, April 22, 2023 - Late night at Maison Dakota with Asparagus. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of sexy fragrant earth, slight red candy, red cherries, black cherries, ?smokyh stones. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of lovely sweet red cherries, slight black cherries, sweet pomegrante, peonies, very crunchy minerally earth. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality. Another super enjoyable 2017 Red Burg in a good place. Still has years of development ahead also. Nice depth.
