Saturday, October 1, 2016 - From the Pearl & Ash NYC- 10pm one bottle only sale glass list - $29 per glass. 10/9/13 disgorgement. My first experience with Selosse and very excited to try - competition for these sale glasses was intense - bottle was sold through by 10:01pm - we had to settle for splitting two glasses between 3 people. On the nose, lots of yeasty/doughy bread rising in the bowl aromas came wafting from the glass - yum! On the palate, the initial attack of acidity and bubbles was very bright with flavors of tart green apple, brioche and an oxidative note. A lot of the underlying wine character and complexity comes through the finish. Definitely want to buy some of this for the cellar now. Delicious!
