Likes this wine:

Sunday, January 13, 2019 - After an evening tasting Swiss wines in very good company and with wonderful food, one of the guests mentioned he had a very old vintage of a Bordeaux wine and decided on the spot to go get it. Which he did. Fill level surprisingly good (upper shoulder), the cork came out in two pieces but was still in very good shape. The wine had still a very good color, subdued but still vibrant red, was hazy, but surprisingly no deposit. The nose had a lot of forest floor, still some fruit and a bit of green pepper. The palate was quite lean at first but remarkably drinkable and it even gained body over the hour during which each of the lucky people present sipped their share of this precious liquid. What a treat and what a touching experience...
