Thursday, March 21, 2024 - I may have opened this one a tad bit early. But my Burgundy journey is still in its infancy so who knows.

No decant, but bottle’s been open for about an hour. Shows aromas of plum, blackcurrant, red cherry, raspberry, wet soil, a hint of cocoa powder. On the palate, the wine is simultaneously silky and broad-shouldered, packing a punch of raspberry, sour cherry,
and a touch of citrus on the midpalate. Bright and exciting, but could likely use a few more years of bottle age to sweeten things out (for my tastes only!).
