Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes before service - modest levels of fine sediment during the decant. In the glass, clear pinkish-red at the rim, shading quickly to a dark, clear red core. On the nose, ripe strawberries and cherries, with a touch of lemon thyme in the background. On the palate, silky smooth, full of ripe cherries, yet light on its feet, with slate, bright herbs, and nutmeg rounding out the palate. A very nice pinot.
