Notes: the palate still suggests that this is quite young but I can taste the potential in it. Give it another 5-6 years it should start to show better. Nevertheless, I do not find this to be an extraordinary wine and I cannot say that this can live up to its reputation and hype given its a legendary year from a legendary monopole. It may be a very young still but in my view I don't see the greatness many claim from this vintage. While I cannot describe this as a disappointment because it is still very good and extremely balanced and afterall if we ignore pricing this is probably one of the top 5 best winery in the world. I'm sure this will improve with more cellaring but I doubt it will be as good as many anticipate today.
