Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - Opened way too young I guess. All oak notes on PnP - but much better after 3 hr decant. Plum, blackberry jam, black pepper, tobacco and green pepper, but like a really delicious velvety green pepper that’s been braised in mole sauce or something. Have the opportunity to pick up a few more bottles at a good price but I’m undecided.

    2/8/2023 7:14:00 AM - Yes I think you’re right. Primary characteristics were muted, overwhelmed by oak at first. Probably caught it in an awkward phase. I like the direction it’s heading though. I’d be intrigued to try this in 2026.
