Friday, October 22, 2021 - Outstanding Old World Napa Cabs: Splash decant, then 2 hours Slo O - Nose was nice with black fruit and menthol dominating, but hints of earth and some leather lurking in the background. Palate showed plenty of black fruit, some red fruit, eucalyptus, sage, earth and graphite, with enough well-integrated tannins to still give a slight pucker. Finish was medium long and very tasty! This wine still has plenty of life, but is drinking quite well now! Easily 94+ to 95 tonight! Group's #2 (tied with 91 Dunn) and my #3.
