Sunday, February 28, 2021 - Drunk with roast butternut squash soup with parsley pesto. Yellow gold. A buttery nose that developed into almonds, cream, ripe melon and vanilla. Quite rich, full and well balanced with very good length. Going strong with no sign of fading. It is drinking well and is very enjoyable but would need more complexity to score higher. This may yet get better over the next 10 years - still seems quite young.
