Medium body, fairly dark ruby color, intriguing nose of crushed fruit, forest floor, light spice; lovely palate of fairly deep red fruit, some nice spice notes, maybe a bit of pine forest, elegant and detailed, with a touch of mouthwatering tart acidity. Quite drinkable now, though I'm sure it will smooth out with a few years in bottle. A lively, light on its feet wine, quite enjoyable.
