Saturday, January 6, 2024 - For a cool vintage wine, this shows in surprisingly powerful ways. Black cherry, spice and new oak on the nose. Flavors coming through are black raspberry/blackberry compote along with spice and a bit of menthol. Some chocolate? Anyway - really good stuff. It evolved significantly over the two hours in the glass. Definitely decanting next time - at least two hours.
