Thursday, September 9, 2021 - Like a lot of 17s, very approachable in its youth. Pop and pour, but notes from 1.5 hrs open. On the nose: violets, blackberries, wild strawberry, soft red earthy notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, a touch of baking spice, good density, if leaning lighter in style, more nice red and black fruit and soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. Yum!
