Thursday, January 21, 2021 - PnP. Very young dark and almost bluish purple. Very young on the nose as well with purpley, grapey notes dominating and secondary notes of dried herbs, loam, black pepper and camphor to add some depth and complexity. Very smooth, rich, fruity and woody on the first sip. Lots of unintegrated oak on the palate. The flavours are similarly purple and a bit grapey, with all of the same secondary flavours there on the palate as on the nose. Nicely flavoured but too young and a bit disjointed at present. Also feels a tad hot. I expect this will be lovely in a few more years so lay it away for a while. 90 points for now.
