Sunday, October 4, 2020 - Weingut Heymann-Löwenstein: The sound of slate with Sarah Löwenstein (Zoom!): Uhlen is a single hill, on a curve of the Mosel, S and W facing. This section is grey slate - gives roundness, creaminess and mouth-filling minerality. All the Uhlen plots have vines that are on average 55yo.

A little bit of spritz. Very classic Riesling. Peachy nose, gamey flavour, and a real melange of fruit coming through. Quite a tight, stony finish.
