Notes after 12 hours upon opening. The wine is still a little closed on the palate, but has already shown the charming fragrance of jasmine or gardenia. This is not the first time that I have reached a consensus with many other comments, that is, high quality Riesling tends to be more open, expressive and self proving after 12 hours or 1 day of opening.

Medium lemon color. Expressive nose that is more on stony and savory side. Wet clay, crushed stones, rubber hose, fresh basil and some petrochemical notes. The fruit is mostly in the yellow spectrum with apples, zesty lemon and traces of stone fruit. Followed this wine over three days and found the fruit to be more pronounced after a day or two.
Bone dry, high acidity and quite powerful on the palate. Great intensity to the flavors that brings the same stony feel as the nose did. Surprisingly giving already for such a young wine but there's still lots of upside here.

12 hours bottle decant at cellar temp.
I think it needs longer decant, maybe 18-24 hours, for the nose is full of sesame even at 2nd/3rd round during 3 hours tasting.

Weingut Heymann-Löwenstein: The sound of slate with Sarah Löwenstein (Zoom!): Uhlen is a single hill, on a curve of the Mosel, S and W facing. This section is grey slate - gives roundness, creaminess and mouth-filling minerality. All the Uhlen plots have vines that are on average 55yo.
A little bit of spritz. Very classic Riesling. Peachy nose, gamey flavour, and a real melange of fruit coming through. Quite a tight, stony finish.
