Tuesday, September 12, 2023 - Chenin blanc (48%), Riesling (18%) and Muscat de Frontignan (30%) with a few percent of other varieties
Coppery gold this was extremely unctuous and sweet, tasting of raisins but without any redeeming acidity. Out of condition but while the other sample was fresher it still cloyed. CHP 81pts

    At the tasting there were two bottles, one for each table. The bottle on mine was quite frankly awful and marginally out of condition. The second bottle was "fresher" but still lacked that essential ingredient for great sweet wine - acidity. Thanks for your wholehearted endorsement. Bws, Clive
