Friday, August 3, 2012 - No formal note. Smoky, leathery red and black berry fruit, vanilla notes. Medium/full bodied, intense, layered black cherry and strawberry fruit, vanilla, leather and smoke, soft tannins, fresh acidity, good length finish. Drinking well but may still be some improvement as the oak continues to integrate.
