Sunday, January 13, 2013 - Purple tending to ruby. Initially it's bit of an oak bomb - all vanilla and cream - but with time and agitation it starts giving off bramble, blackcurrant, biscuit and toast underpinned by a slight eucalyptus and mint note. In the mouth brambles and leather are to the fore over vanilla and cream. the eucalyptus is less prevalent and warm alcohol and spice take over on the long finish.
