On the palate, a core of dark cherries, a touch of sweet vanilla and stone fruit, and a somewhat hot, somewhat alcoholic finish. The fruit is here, with a nice bit of complexity, but the alcoholic notes on the nose and palate drag this one down from what it could have been.
