Thursday, February 18, 2010 - Dinner in Chicago (w/ GV); 2/18/2010-2/19/2010 (Mado, Wicker Park, Chicago, Illinois): Just as I poured this bottle, we were served a braised beef's tounge. Wow. Ok, for those of you all about wine pairings, this is a MUST. Wine felt a bit salty (which I liked), probably from the olive flavor that I got. It also had a really nice and well developed red and black fruit component. The final part, and something that I loved is the smoked ham/meats aspect of this. Really nice.
