Friday, December 31, 2021 - Full yellow colour. A very honeyed nose with some apricot showing. On day 4, from a half, the nose hadn't changed. This wine is amazingly fresh and still has a small presence spritzig. Rich, full, round and with very, very concentrated honeyed yellow fruit flavours and a dried apricot finish. Even on the 4th day the spritzig was still evident and with no deterioration in flavour or structure. Nik Weis has produced another fine wine in this vintage. It bears all the hallmarks that it will still drink with great pleasure at age 25.
