Sunday, May 31, 2009 - Popped and poured, let first glass sit for 30 minutes, bottle open on wine counter. Bright, deep ruby color, almost garnet. Cherry, evergreen forest, herbal nose. Ripe tart cherries, dusty, spicy on the palate. Rich mouthfeel, belies the elegance of the color and nose. In a very nice place. Paired beautifully with a roasted Flannery Lamb Saddle, saffron rice and broccoli sauteed in olive oil, garlic & chicken stock.
