90 Points

Monday, February 24, 2020 - Needed decanting for sediment. Jammy, slightly metalic nose with a hint of acetate of a warm year. Sweet on the front of the palate with black cherry and plum - with a savoury dusty finish. Acidity was subtle and kept this nicely centred. This is a civilised and rather austere wine that has plenty of time left. Poor QPR, but this kind of wine is as rare as hens teeth in Germany.
