Friday, June 3, 2011 - Asphalt and licorice, red fruits. Brings back memories, Proust-like, from that courtyard in Perrecy-la-Forge, Burgundy in 1995. The oak is well integrated, maybe too much fudge, but very good. Easy drinking wine, slightly overpriced. Oriental spices (cinnamon, nutmeg...) emerge after some decanting, match the fruit well.
