Saturday, April 2, 2022 - GFWETZEL’s tasting note nailed it. On opening, it was quite stark, backward on the fruit, and a tarry note more noticeable. It developed within 30 minutes, and when we finished it 2 hours later, it was much more integrated and balanced, with excellent fruit. The alcohol never stood out. A lovely wine, just very young, and will need more time to see its best.
