Thursday, December 28, 2023 - Opened this last night, had a glass, then the bottle sit in the cellar for 10 hours or so. Viscous wine; looks the part. Warm mulberry fruit in the nose, and a hint of cinnamon, but still a little reticent. More forthcoming in the mouth, but in a firm, crisp way. This should be a beauty someday, but it still needs a few years to soften. Traditionalists rejoice! 5-13-17-9: 94/100.
