Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Four hours of aeration in wide-bottom decanter and despite that, this still needed to unpack a few bits and pieces. Served side-by-side with the '18 Ormes de Pez, I preferred the latter, though in five years I'll not be surprised if those opinions reverse and the Kirwan is my choice. Either way, it's kind of splitting hairs as they're both quite good. For the $50 at release, this is good, but the Ormes at just $30 takes first place as the value proposition. Has a good future. recommended
