Monday, August 8, 2022 - Same bottle accessed by Coravin in May. Drank over two days, alongside the same vintage Capbern.

Not quite a slab-sided beast, but certainly a non-charming behemoth. Heavy extraction and oak treatment, followed by noticeable alcohol. Generally placeless. It should evolve for a few years, but I do not expect improvement.

8/8/2022 12:40:00 PM - We had a 4 couples wine/dinner group back in the day and one of the guys Dad I think had a lot of this Chateau from the70’s and 80’s. It was always completely underwhelming and left a bad impression on me. He brought different vintages each time and not one of them was good. As a resultai always avoided this Chateau.

    8/8/2022 12:45:00 PM - I have tasted several vintages. The '05 and '10 were excellent+. The '14 and '15 were also excellent.
