Friday, May 18, 2007 - Double decanted for 20 minutes. Medium-bodied wine that is dark magenta/purple in color. On the nose, brooding, if reticent, dark berry fruits and light vanilla. On the palate, black raspberries, blackberries, and licorice on the long 20-30 second finish. Excellent structure and bright acidity make this juicy wine lithe on its feet. Lots of potential wound up inside, but definitely needs time to develop and open up aromatically.
