Saturday, April 13, 2024 - Made with a blend of the 2014, 2016 and 2017 vintages with a mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Bottled in July 2018 with 5,734 bottles made and of course Brut Nature.

Extremely golden in the glass - you can already see the more natural and oxidized style here.

Nose really showed this natural and oxidized style. Quite mature on the nose with bruised golden apple, apple cider, candied lemon, candied pineapple, guava, oak and brioche. Getting aged vintage and a slight Selosse vibe.

Even though the nose was mature and oxidized, the palate started off with a big hit of freshness - Red and green apple, red forest berries, ripe citrus fruits, citrus zest and some peach.
Then comes the creamy mouthfeel, depth and beautiful balance of, once again, more natural and oxidized notes. Cold churned butter, brioche, mature/bruised orchard fruits and grapefruit.
Such a laser-sharp acidity and so energetic with the zero dosage in perfect balance. Chalky, stoney and clean. Wonderful!
