Tonight, the 2006 Enchanted Path is still a wine which could have been made by no one else than Sarah and Sparky Marquis. But it has integrated and the initial attack of ample Syrah fruit is slightly toned down. It is actually possible to notice the 34 percent Cabernet as a slight whiff from a led pencil. But do not mistaken, the fruit is still ripe, the palate full and lush and to use a new expression: an "eyebrow raiser". A hate it or love it wine. I tend to be of the latter opinion.
