Tuesday, February 2, 2021 - Popped and aerated in a decanter over about an hour. Drank with homemade chili, and it barely stood up. Surprising for a big Aussie shiraz. Notes of prune, blackberry and blueberries on the nose. Tannins are softening. Still very chewy like a typical Mollydooker, just muted. Finish is not nearly as long as this wine had 5 years ago. Overall, recommend finishing up this vintage soon, as it's nearing it's end.
