We let this decant for three hours before drinking. Acidity was medium, tannins were still fairly present. Probably could’ve benefitted from a few more years of rest. I enjoyed the wine as a casual drink but didn’t have much complexity. Notes of red fruit on the nose, but not much else. Currant, raspberry, with a hint of vanilla with a nice smooth finish. Solid cab.
