  • Not the typical Napa Cab in regards to the body. Expect more elegance than you’re run of the mill big Napa Cab fruit bombs. We let this decant for three hours before drinking. Acidity was medium, tannins were still fairly present. Probably could’ve benefitted from a few more years of rest. I enjoyed the wine as a casual drink but didn’t have much complexity. Notes of red fruit on the nose, but not much else. Currant, raspberry, with a hint of vanilla with a nice smooth finish. Solid cab.

  • I don’t think I’ve ever had a Saddleback cab that has disappointed. This is just as good as the others - smooth, rich, long finish, well balanced. An outstanding wine.
